I would be a patriot. Because it wasn't about the stuff they had to pay to britan. it was about the reason that they didn't get help from britan from paying taxes their taxes went towards Britain to help britsh stuff but the colonies got nothing so i would be with the states. They paid taxes and didn't even have representation in parliament.
