Answer:

y = - x + 7

Explanation:

the equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

given slope m = - 1 , then

y = - x + c ← is the partial equation

to find c, substitute (- 6, 13 ) for x and y in the partial equation

13 = - (- 6) + c = 6 + c ( subtract 6 from both sides )

7 = c

y = - x + 7 ← equation of line
