the first thing u need to do is treat the line as if the hypotenuse of a triangle (u have to add the height and width) , making it a right angle tringle.

now u have to count how many squares is the width in this case 10

simply half the width and draw the Hight from that point

in this case 10÷2=5

5 blocks from the bottom stops at the y axis (in this case)

now bring it up until u reach the segment

note the point that touches the line and write its coordinates.
