Solution:

Given the triangle

Let h represent the hypotenuse

\begin{gathered} h^2=8^2+15^2\text{ \lparen pythagoras theorem\rparen} \\ h^2=64+225 \\ h^2=289 \\ h=√(289) \\ h=17 \end{gathered}

(a)\text{ }sin\theta=\frac{opposite}{hypotenuse\text{ }}\text{ = }(15)/(17)
(b)\text{ cos}\theta=(adjacent)/(hypotenuse)=(8)/(17)
(c)\text{ Tan}\theta=\frac{opposite\text{ }}{adjacent}=(15)/(8)
(d)\text{ Csc}\theta=(1)/(sin\theta)=(1)/((15)/(17))\text{ = }(17)/(15)
(e)\text{ Sec}\theta=(1)/(cos\theta)=(1)/((8)/(17))=(17)/(8)
(f)\text{ Cot}\theta=(1)/(tan\theta)=(1)/((15)/(8))=(8)/(15)
