Answer:

slope m =
(2)/(3)

Explanation:

the equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

given the equation

4x - 6y = 2 ( subtract 4x from both sides )

- 6y = - 4x + 2 ( divide through by - 6 )

(-6)/(-6) y =
(-4)/(-6) x +
(2)/(-6) , that is

y =
(2)/(3) x -
(1)/(3) ← in slope- intercept form

with slope m =
(2)/(3)

Answer:

4x - 6y = 2

2x - 3y = 1

-3y = -2x + 1

y = (2/3)x - (1/3)

m = 2/3
