For the record, 'R' is known as the correlation coefficient.

R represents the "quality" per say for the line of best fit. If R is close to 1, the line is considered a "good fit" If r is close to 0, the model is "not a good fit". o If r = 1, the model is a "perfect fit" with all data points lying on the line.

Therefore 0.39 is considered a weak "relationship", or line of best fit.
