By substituting the given data points (0, 10) and (2, 30)into the formula for the rate of change (slope) of a line, we have the following;

Rate of change (slope) =
(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Rate of change (slope) = (30 - 10)/(2 - 0)

Rate of change (slope) = 20/2

Rate of change (slope) = 10.
