Cumulative Project: Reflecting on My Journey

Required Materials

⚫ Word processing software

Presentation software (optional)

Printer (optional)

Report folder (optional)

Camera (optional)

This activity will help you answer the question, "What have learned in this course about my own health?" Step 1: Gather Your Projects

As you've moved along through this course, you have created a few projects that were designed for you to specifically think about your own situation and make a plan to apply what you had learned. Of course, you've covered a lot of ground so you may have a hard time remembering exactly what you found or planned.

Take this opportunity to look in the special folder you created and pull out these assignments or documents:

How Healthy Am I?

My Health Journey or Goal Logbook (depending on the title you chose)

My Action Plan

My Stress Action Plan or Coping with Stress (depending on the title you chose)

Step 2: Refresh Yourself on Lessons Learned

Read through each document, thinking about what aspect of health, nutritionor wellness you were focused on when creating it.

Examine challenges you identified for yourself and look for any goals or adjustments you planned to make Step 3: Reflect on Your Plans

Using a new word processing document, create a page that is titled My Journey On the page, write one to two paragraphs for each of these reflection questions:

1. What have I learned about improving the state of my physical health in this course?

2What have leamed about improving the state of my mental or emotional health in this course?

3Which steps have already taken to improve my health and wellness throughout this course?

4 In the futurewhat important lessons do want to remember or implement so that can be the healthiest version of myself Step 4: Assemble a Final Portfolio

Take the special projects you created, as well as your My Journey reflection page, and either insert them all into a new document or incorporate them into a visual presentation

You could even print out the assignments and gather them into a special report or presentation folder that has laminated slots, creating a little book

Regardless of how you choose to assemble your portfolio, create a title page and a small summary of the information it containsHopefully, you will use this special portfolio as a reference for yourself in the future to help you deal with challenges to your health and meet your health goals

Specifically, your reflection page and your completed portfolio packetdocument, or visual presentation are your deliverables for this activity if you chose to print the documents and compile them into a physical foldertake photos of this folder and upload them for consideration
