we can conclude that ∆ABC is congruent to ∆DEF with the following conditions

1.Hypotenuse-Leg (HL)

2.Side-Angle-Side (SAS)

What the conditions for congruence of triangles

Triangles are congruent if their corresponding sides and angles are equal. This is expressed by the Side-Side-Side (SSS), Side-Angle-Side (SAS), Angle-Side-Angle (ASA), and Hypotenuse-Leg (HL) conditions. These criteria ensure a complete match between two triangles.

From the figure

Given

AB congruent to DE

and

AC congruent to DF

angle A congruent to angle D

angle A = angle D = 90⁰

angle B is congruent to angle E

angle B = angle E

we can conclude that ∆ABC is congruent to ∆DEF with the following conditions

1.Hypotenuse-Leg (HL)

2.Side-Angle-Side (SAS).
