Answer:

y = x + 2

Explanation:

the equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

given slope m = 1 , then

y = x + c ← is the partial equation

to find c, substitute (3, 5 ) for x and y in the partial equation

5 = 3 + c ( subtract 3 from both sides )

2 = c

y = x + 2 ← equation of line
