Answer:

x = number of toys sought

B(x) = R(x)-C(x)

C(x)= 3600+1.4x

R(x)= 4.2x

what is the minimum number of toys that can be sold per day to make a profit?

4.2x≥3600+1.4x

4.2x-1.4x≥3600

2.8x≥3600

x≥1285.71....i.e 1286

you need to sell at least 1286 toys a day to make a profit
