X = 1

Explanation:

Because the sides of a square are the same, just do (x + 1) (x + 1)

You will get x^2 + 2x + 1

Then find the area of the rectangle, which is x^2 + 3x

Then equal the two bold equations to each other, re arrange it and collect like terms, and then get x as 1.
