Javier solved the equation 32=2(k+4)32=2(k+4). He made a mistake in his reasoning. What is his mistake and what should he have done differently?

Answer: I am pretty sure the mistake would be where he put the variable k.

Explanation:

You know the variable equals 8 because 2x8=32. You can change the equation to 2(32+2) Therefore, the variable diesnt equal 2, so 32=2(k+4) doesnt work. Hope this helps!!
