Transcription produces mRNA and dna replication produces DNA. If transcription has less effective proofing it will make more errors. These errors are mutations that can affect the eventual protein produced.

Therefore C: it is more likely there will be errors in the base sequence of mRNA ( the nucleotides that make it up) than in DNA.
