What are two ordered pairs that are 5.5 units apart

Select a point at random. Let's say we pick (2,3)

Then add 5.5 to one of the coordinates. I'll add it to the x coordinate.

2+5.5 = 7.5

Therefore the two points (2, 3) and (7.5, 3) are 5.5 units apart.

Infinitely other answers are possible.
