to solve this question, we simply need to substitute 8 as the value of x in the expression


\begin{gathered} h(x)=x^2-5-x \\ h(8)=8^2-5-8 \\ h(8)=64-5-8 \\ h(8)=51 \end{gathered}

from the calculation above, the value of h(8) is equal to 51
