Answer:

n=6 using "rise-over-run"

Explanation:

Given: Line passes through origin (0,0), (-1,1)

You can use the to "given" points to find the slope between the two points. Calculate slope by using "rise-over-run":
((y_(2) -y_(1)))/((x_(2)-x_(1)) )

Calculate:
((1-0))/(((-1)-0)) =(1)/(-1) = -1

The slope comes out to be -1. Plug the slope (-1) the equation below.

(n-1)/(-1-4) = -1

(n-1)/(-5)=-1

\\n-1=5

Add n to the other side to find it is 6
