URGENT! Please explain in steps so that I can learn how to do this, thanks in advance.

Divide polynomials by using long division. Check answer by multiplication.
(35b^2-34b-21)/(5b-7)

Answer: 7b+3

Step-by-step explanation: Basically, 35b^2/5b(first two terms of the dividend and divisor)=7b so 7b would be the first term of the quotient. So you would take the 7b, multiply it by 5b-7 and subtract that from 35b^2-34b-21. 35b^2-34b-21-7b(5b-7)=35b^2-34b-21-35b^2+49b=15b-21(new "dividend"). 15b/5b=3. 3 would be the second term. Same thing 15b-21-3(5b-7)=15b-21-15b+21=0. You have reached 0. Therefore: 7b+3. Note: If you need to show work you have to express this with long division. Hope this helps
