\sin( 70^o )=\cfrac{\stackrel{opposite}{BC}}{\underset{hypotenuse}{10}} \implies 10\sin(70^o)=BC \implies 9.40\approx BC \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill\\\\ \cos(70^o )=\cfrac{\stackrel{adjacent}{AC}}{\underset{hypotenuse}{10}} \implies 10\cos(70^o)=AC \implies 3.42\approx AC

Make sure your calculator is in Degree mode.
