Answer: 31.28

Explanation:

The height of the triangle can be worked out using pythagoras

h =
\sqrt[2]{8.6^(2)-4.3^(2) } = √(55.47)

The area is height x base / 2

8.4 x
√(55.47) / 2 = 31.28 to 2 d.p.
