we have the expression

\text{log (P}-Q)=\log P-\log Q

Applying properties of log right side

\text{log (P}-Q)=\log ((P)/(Q))

Equate the numbers inside the parenthesis

P-Q=(P)/(Q)_{}

Solve for P

P-(P)/(Q)=Q
P\lbrack1-(1)/(Q)\rbrack=Q
P=(Q)/(\lbrack1-(1)/(Q)\rbrack)

Simplify

P=(Q^2)/(Q-1)
