Answer:

shaded area = total area - the two triangles areas

total area = 5*9 = 45 cm²

first tri area = 1/2 * h *b

= 0.5 * 5 * 2 = 5 cm²

second tri area = 0.5 * 6 * 5 = 15 cm²

shaded area = 45 - 15 - 5 = 25 cm²
