You are at home and have 4 friends over, when you get a tsunami warning. They all talk about what they should do.

Mario says, “We should quickly drive to the beach to see it!”

Luigi says, “We should take shelter in the basement!”

Ryu says, “We should go to a higher floor, and shelter there!”

Lara says, “We should get to higher ground and far from the beach.”

Who has the best advice, and what is the problem with the other suggestions?

Lara has the best advice. When there’s a tsunami you want to get to higher ground as far away from the beach as possible. Driving to the beach would be a terrible idea. Take shelter in the basement would be an OK option but still not as good as getting to higher ground. Going to a higher floor would also be a bad idea as the tsunami what immediately knocked the higher floors down.
