(2x - 1)(2x + 1)

Explanation:

4x² - 1 ← is a difference of squares and factorises in general as

a² - b² = (a - b)(a + b)

4x² - 1

= (2x)² - 1² [ with a = 2x and b = 1 ] , then factorising give

(2x - 1)(2x + 1)
