How do you solve this system of equations?
6x+2y=16
2x-y=2

Explanation:

By multiplying the second equation by 2 then addig it to the first:

6x + 2y = 16

4x - 2y = 4

10 x + 0 y = 20

10 x = 20

x = 20/10 = 2

Now the value of x can be replaced in any equation

2x - y =2

2 × 2 - y = 2

-y = 2 -4

y = 2
