First, add the numbers together, then if there is a zero in the answer, move the 0 back 3 times and decide by 100 to round

Answer:

  1. 4 + 4
  2. 23 + 8 + 4
  3. 53 + 3 + 28
  4. 11 + 17 + 93
  5. 24 + 8 + 3

Explanation:

it says to round to the nearest whole number

For whole numbers...

Anything in the tenths place that is equal to or greater than 5 is rounded to the next number

Anything in the tenths place that is less than 5 is rounded to the whole number that is in the decimal.

For example:

4.112 + 3.89

Let's start with 4.112.

Check the tenths place

4.112

The number in the tenths place is less than 5, so it rounds back to 4.

4 + 3.89

Now for 3.89

3.89

8 is greater than 5, so it rounds to the next whole number, which is 4.

4 + 4

Simply just do basic math, and...

4 + 4 = 8

Now you can do the same with the rest of the equations.
