I have no idea how to solve this, help please.

x^6 * x^4/3

what do you mean by "solve this" ?

only an equation can be solved.

for that your expression would need to be equal to something. like = 0 or anything else.

in this case we can only simplify.

remember,

x^a × x^b = x^(a+b)

it is exactly the same here

x^6 × x^(4/3) = x^(6 + 4/3)

the only thing we can do now is to convert the mixed fraction

6 4/3

into a full fraction.

for that we have to ask how many 1/3 are in 6 ?

there are 3 in 1, so there are 3×6 in 6.

therefore,

6 4/3 = (3×6 + 4)/3 = (18 + 4)/3 = 22/3.

so, our final answer is

x^(22/3)
