20. f(x) = 6x2 – 3x2 + 4x - 4 and g(x) = 9x2 + x - 1. What is f(x) = g(x)? Show all of your steps and write your final answer in factored form.

f(x)-g(x)\text{ = }3(2x^3-4x^2+x-1)_{}

Here, we want to subtract g(x) from f(x)

We have this as follows;

\begin{gathered} f(x)-g(x)=6x^3-3x^2+4x-4-(9x^2+x-1) \\ =6x^3-3x^2+4x-4-9x^2-x+1 \\ =6x^3-3x^2-9x^2+4x-x-4+1 \\ =6x^3-12x^2+3x-3 \\ =3(2x^3-4x^2+x-1)_{} \end{gathered}
