Select all the expressions that could be used to find the greatest number of ounces of ice cream each container can hold.

64(1.15)

64(1.015)

64(1.5)+64

64-64(1.5)

64(0.015) - 64

64+ 64(0.015)

The greatest number of ounces of ice cream are 64 * (1 + 0.015) and 64 + 64 * 0.015

How to determie the greatest number of ounces of ice cream

From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:

Volume = 64 ounces

Also, we have

Percentage error = 1.5%

This means that

Greatest = Volume + Volume * Percentage error

So, we have

Greatest = 64 + 64 * 1.5%

Express as

Greatest = 64 + 64 * 0.015

So, we have

Greatest = 64 * (1 + 0.015)

Hence, the greatest number of ounces of ice cream are 64 * (1 + 0.015) and 64 + 64 * 0.015
