Answer: y/x =16/5

Explanation:

Move the expression to the left, y x 1 = 4/5 x (x · 4)

Set the function, y x 1 - 4/5 x (x · 4) = 0

find f_x and f_y, f (x , y) = y x 1 - 4/5 x ( x · 4)

find the first partial derivative,

f (x , y) = 1 - 4/5 x (x · 4), f_x = ?

f (x , y) x 1 - 4/5 x ( x · 4) f_y = ?

subsitute f_x = -16/5 and f_y = 1 into

d y/ d x = -(f_x/f_y)

determine the sign, (d y/d x) = -(-(16/5) /1)

divide, dy/dx = (16/5/1)

solution: (d y/d x) = 16/5

hooooopppe this helps
