Given:

The equations are

2x+5y=0

3x-4y=23

To find:

The solution of given system of equations.

Solution:

We have,

2x+5y=0 ...(i)

3x-4y=23 ...(ii)

From (i), we get

2x=-5y

x=-(5y)/(2) ...(iii)

Putting this value in (ii), we get

3(-(5y)/(2))-4y=23

-(15y)/(2)-4y=23

(-15y-8y)/(2)=23

-23y=2* 23

y=(46)/(-23)

y=-2

Putting y=-2 in (iii), we get

x=-(5(-2))/(2)

x=-(-10)/(2)

x=(10)/(2)

x=5

Therefore, the solution of given system of equation is (5,-2).
