since it's going upwards it's a positive slope

y-intersection is at (0,2) therefore b is 2

or

using two points from the graph (2,3) and (4,4)

using slope formula
`(y_(2) - y_(1) )/(x_(2) -x_(2) )` plug in the points :
`(4-3)/(4-2) =(1)/(2)`

then plug into the formula y=
`(1)/(2)` x +b and choose a point and plug it in

3=(1/2)(2) + b

and slove for b:

3= 1 +b

2=b

now your equation is y= 1/2 x + 2
