Question is: 2x - 1 >= 4x + 3

First, join the like terms together.

-> So 2x moves into 4x, meaning it becomes negative -2x on the other side.

-> The number 3 moves into the other side which also becomes negative.

Now the equation will look like this:

- 3 - 1 >= 4x - 2x

- 4 >= 2x

Put 2 on the other side with - 4, and it will divide (not plus or minus as 2 was combined with an unlike term).

It looks like this now:

- 4/2 >= x

- 2 >= x

This is the answer.
