sum the 2 angles, equate to 180 and solve for x

x + x + 36 = 180 ( simplify left side )

2x + 36 = 180 ( subtract 36 from both sides )

2x = 144 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 72

and x + 36 = 72 + 36 = 108

the measures of the 2 angles are 72° and 108°
