First multiply 2x - 5 by 3 amd will open the brackets

3(2x-5)-4=33

6x - 15 - 4 = 33

6x - 19 = 33

Take -19 to other side and its sign will be become +

6x = 33 + 19

6x = 52

x \: \: = (52)/(6)

x = 8.6
