Check the picture below.

so this is a quadrilateral inscribed in a circle, so using the conjecture, we can see "x" is just a supplementary angle to angle Q. Let's also notice, that "x" is intercepting the arcSQR, and let's recall that arcs get their angle value from the central angle they're in, in this case the central angle is "y".
