a = 40 degrees and b = 50 degrees

Explanation:

I don't remember the theorem but 40 degree from the outside is the same as 'a'.

a = 40 degrees

We will use the triangular theorem which is a + b + c = 180 degrees to help us get b. The angle c is 90 degrees because it has the square thing.

40 + 90 + b = 180

130 + b = 180

130 - 130 + b = 180 - 130

b = 50 degrees
