This question is from public speech class. I need this outline as a prompt so i could create my own. The type of the speech is a special occasion speech and the topic could be anything as long as it is not about a wedding toast or telling about how great your family members are. it needs to be something out of the family. I need a speech outline. The speech should be A special occasion speech. Topic could be anything as long as it is within the special occasion speech. I have attached the prompt on how the outline should look. Introduction The introduction consists of three elements that need to be presented in sequential order.Make Sure to include and label each of the three sections on your outline. 1. Introduction Statement-Write out a short paragraph that reflect what you will say in the introduction. Write the short paragraph as if you were addressing the audience. You do not have to quote your own outline during your speech. You may deviate from the verbiage of the paragraph, but it should capture how you will lead into the topic. 2. Thesis Statement-One short, declarative sentence that sums up what your speech is going to be about what your intent for giving this speech is. ("Tell them what you're going to tell them") 3. Preview -State in sequential order the main points of your speech that will support your thesis statement. You Need to numerically signposteach main point.Do not forget to signpost! Body of Speech This section of your outline is the most important as it maps out your ideas, reasoning, evidence, and the logical connection between all. This is the part where you "tell them". Main Points, Subpoints, and Demonstrationsâ–ª Main points are indicated by Roman numerals. - They serve to achieve the objective/fulfill the purpose of the speech as defined by the thesis statement.Main points therefore must directly support the thesis statement. Subpoints are indicated by capital/uppercase letters. They further explain, clarify, provide examples, and support their respective main points. Demonstrations("Sub-Sub Points")are indicated by Arabic numerals(those are the "normal"numbers you're used to). Demonstrations are not required for the Special Occasion Speech. Only the Informative and Persuasive Speech will require Demonstrations. Main points support the thesis, subpoints provide further detail about each main point, and demonstrations support subpoints. Each level provides greater detail, specific examples, statistics, expert testimonies, etc. Formatting - You need to create a full sentence outline. Each main point, subpoint, and demonstration(if needed), must be phrased as a complete, grammatically correct sentence. Please ensure proper alignment: All Roman numerals of a main point must be (vertically) aligned. All uppercase letters of the subpoints must be (vertically) aligned. All Arabic numbers of the demonstrations, must be (vertically) aligned. Each level should be visually identifiable on the outline. You may include transitions on your outline, but itis not required. Conclusion Review of speech: Review what your speech was about ("tell them what you told them"). You may do this by reviewing each main point OR making a general statement that reviews the entire content of your speech in broad terms. It must be clear that you are actively reviewing. Closing statement: Write out a few sentences that capture the general idea of how you would like to end your speech to round it off and make it memorable. Do not cut your conclusion short! It's an essential part of a successful speech, just as important as the introduction and the body.
