Answer:

Explanation:

Every function is equal to y

i.e. F(x)=3x+6

y=3x+6

since we are finding the inverse, wherever we see x, we are going to replace it with y and vice versa

x=3y+6

We are now going to transpose to find y which is the inverse of the function

x-6=3y

x-6 all over 3 i.e (x-6)/3

therefore y=(x-6)/3 OR 1/3 (x-6)
