According to the what was presented to me, to find the number of moles of a compound or element from a given mass, we need to use the molar mass of this element and do the following calculation:

Si = 28.0855g/mol

28.08g = 1 mol of Si

4.68g = x moles of Si

x = 0.17 moles of Si

O = 16g/mol

16g = 1 mol of O

5.32g = x moles of O

x = 0.33 moles of O
