Answer: 1,320 cl

Explanation:

Water and orange squash are mixed in the ratio 11 : 2.

This means that at their simplest if using cl, it would take 11cl of water and 2 cl of orange squash for a proper dilution.

If 240 cl of orange sqaush is used and you need to find the amount of water, use direct proportion with x as water.

11 : 2

x : 240

Cross-multiply:

2x = 11 * 240

x = 2,640 / 2

= 1,320 cl
