Can you help me solve . suppose you run a small carpentry business. You currently have

Twenty five cabinets in your inventory and can produce
nine new cabinets per week. You could model this scenario with
Y = 9 x +25 where y is the number of cabinets you have available for install x weeks from now.
If the local high school needs 52 cabinets for their new art building, how many weeks will it take to fill the order?

3 weeks

To find how many weeks it will take, plug 52 into the equation as the Y variable and solve for x.

52 = 9 x + 25

Subtract 25 from both sides.

52 -25 = 9 x + 25 -25

27 = 9 x

Divide each side by 9.

27 /9 = 9 x /9

3 = x

And there you have it!

It'll take 3 weeks to fully fill the order.

Hope this helps!

Let me know if you have anything questions or need anything else :)
