I hope you meant the formulation this way

Answer: x= -6.6

Explanation:

(The x2 is squared)

x2-5x+22= -7x+2

x2-5x+7x=2-22

3x= -22

(Then you cancel the 3x by 3 and divide -22/3 putting the 3 below the -22 which equals -6.6)

X= -6.6
