B. The colonists were upset about being taxed without representation in Parliament.

Although the other options may seem close, it’s specifically B, because the colonists wanted something that represented them as the people. it had less to do with attention, and more of representation. “No taxation without representation.” They didn’t like the fact that they were being taxed without having any say or right to vote in parliament.
