Hi there!

We are asked to write the line's equation in point-slope form. Point-slope looks like this:


  • \bold{y-y_1=m(x-x_1)}

Substitute the values:


  • \bold{y-7=6(x-2)}

Simplify


  • \bold{y-7=6x-12}

Add 7 to both sides:


  • \bold{y=6x-12+7}

  • \bold{y=6x-5}

Therefore, y = 6x - 5.
