Answer:

3x² + 14x = -11

3x² + 14x + 11 = 0

x = (-14 ± √(14² - 4(3)(11)))/(2×3)

= (-14 ± √(196 - 132))/6

= (-14 ± √64)/6

= (-14 ± 8)/6

= -6/6, -22/6

= -1, -3 2/3
