Hello!
Sir Syed worried about the state of muslims after the war of 1857 because he held the belief that the only way of elevating the status of Muslims in the subcontinent was in the reinforcement of connections with the British colonial authorities and the provision of enhanced educational opportunities for Muslims. Effective relationships faced two main challenges in India during this time:
The British blamed Muslims for the 1857 War of Independence and responded with harsh measures against them. They saw Hindus and other religious groups as loyal and willing to help govern India, but Muslims were viewed as rebellious.
Many Muslims harbored deep resentment toward the British. Some considered the British as foreign intruders, while others believed they aimed to replace Islam with Christianity. Additionally, some Muslims rejected Western ideas that conflicted with Islamic teachings.
Sir Syed's goal was to ensure that Muslims embraced the benefits of British rule, particularly in science and technology, to improve their lives.
I apologize if this is incorrect, and I hope you have a wonderful day filled with joy and great achievements! Also wish you good luck on your studies, you're smart!
