You could put it in a calculator, or work it out “by hand” 2/5 raised to the 5th power is the same as multiplying 2/5 by 2/5 5 times.

So, you would have 2*2*2*2*2 / 5*5*5*5*5
Which is equal to 32/3125 or 0.01024

Answer:

\left((2)/(5)\right)^5 = (32)/(3125) = 0.01024

Explanation:

To find the value of:

\left((2)/(5)\right)^5

Solution:

We can calculate this value by multiplying
(2)/(5) by itself 5 times:

\begin{aligned} \left((2)/(5)\right)^5 &= (2)/(5) * (2)/(5) * (2)/(5) * (2)/(5) * (2)/(5) \\\\ & = (4)/(25) * (2)/(5) * (2)/(5) * (2)/(5) \\\\ & = (8)/(125) * (2)/(5) * (2)/(5) \\\\ & = (16)/(625) * (2)/(5) \\\\ & = (32)/(3125) \end{aligned}

We can also use a calculator to find the value . Simply enter the fraction
(2)/(5) into the calculator and press the exponent button (^) 5 times.

Calculator:

\left((2)/(5)\right)^5 = 0.01024

Therefore, the value of:

\left((2)/(5)\right)^5 = (32)/(3125) = 0.01024
