Explanation:

what is the question ? maybe how do the graphs relate to each other ?

f(x) = 3x + 2

that is a line with the slope of 3 and y-intercept at y = 2.

g(x) = 3(x - 3) + 2 = 3x - 9 + 2 = 3x - 7

that is a line too with the slope of 3 and the y-intercept at y = -7.

since both lines have the same slope, they are parallel.

and because they have different y-intercepts, they are not identical (and therefore truly 2 separate parallel lines).
