One factor that helps language development would be:

A parent being responsive to the child's communications
O A parent not speaking to their child so that they don't influence their speech
O A parent making sure they never use 'parentese' or child-directed speech
O A parent buying expensive software for language development

A parent making sure they never use ‘parentese’ or child-direct speech as this form of speech could lead to the development of the child’s language in his/her own way. This may affect the language development of the child when the child grows up
